RU All I can say is wow! If only I had a pack like this back in the 80s while serving in the Army. Organization is very important when it comes to your pack..and this thing has it plus more!! The fabric is outstanding. Even comes with replacement jigs..buckles and D ring. Couldn't ask for a better pack. The smaller assault pack or day pack is a bonus. I now have a love affair with my new pack..Highly recommend..so buy it!! Lots of other higher priced packs out there but have yet to see one as good as this.

Meanwhile, double stitched 1000D oxford fabric makes pouches attachment strong and stable.

The standard measurements for the ILBE Assault Pack are approximately 6" deep, 12" wide, and 18" tall for main compartment and the outer pocket is 2" deep, 10" wide and 14" high. Inside the main compartment is a pocket designed to hold a hydration bladder. The hydration tube can be fed out through the top of the pack on either the left or right side.
