Military Alice Bag

ALICE = AllPurpose Lightweight Carrying Equipment, the backpacks mainly used by the U.S. Army in the 1950s were also used from the World War II period or the end of World War II.

The most common ones are the JQD-88F Mountain Rucksack and M-1952 Mountain Rucksack (JQD-88F Mountain Rucksack / M-1952 MountainRucksack.) They served as the predecessors of Alice's development and laid the foundation for Alice's extended development.

Although the mountain backpack was originally created in 1941, production and use continued into the 1960s, with one final improvement in the 1950s. The original design of the U.S. Army's mountain backpack was derived from the large outdoor mountaineering backpacks of the Nordic countries (supposedly Norway). But there is no doubt that this series of backpacks has accompanied the U.S. Army for a century, and it goes without saying that it is practical, so let's take a look at its appearance and basic structure.

The mountain backpack, as the name implies, is a backpack for mountain combat use. Compared to other military backpacks of the same period, this one is particularly large, and its capacity is about 100L in order to support soldiers in continuous combat without supplies in areas above the snow line.

As a classic back system, it is still dynamic and still widely accepted by various countries and regions. It represents the history and is the witness of many wars, and it is the wish of many military fans and WWII veterans to pass it on. Watson Oddo Industries began producing an improved version of the ALICE back system for the Nepalese government in 2016, and the ALICE on sale under the MT brand has three different types, ALICE L; ALICE M; ALICE NP, in classic army green and Capricorn color from CP Inc. (MULTICAM). Many improvements and refinements have been made to the Alice, which is loved by the majority of military fans and some national armies, and will bring the ALICE back to life and continue its service history.

I mainly introduce this classic military backpack with frame olive Alice Pack army survival combat field backpack.

1. 14IN long shoulder straps

2. Military Alice Pack Medium Size:Main compartment: 53.34 cm x 35.56 cm x 16.51 cm (H x W x D). Over 2000 cubic liters. Inch, capacity: 40 pounds load, weight: 5 pounds. Made of high-density 1000D waterproof double PU coated Oxford fabric with UTX and molded metal buckles. The color is military green olive brown.

3. The main compartment of the Military Alice backpack closes with a drawstring secured by a plastic cord clip. There is an internal radio pocket. The bottom of the package is sewn to the bottom of the pack via three docking rope straps, and three metal D-rings located directly below the radio pocket can be narrowed. Can be used with the LC-1 Field Pack frame.

4. Three exterior utility pockets with adjustable straps and buckles, snap buttons for quick access, other items are available. The top flap has a pocket with hook and fleece fastener tape seal. Equipment hooks are located above each exterior pocket and on both sides. Drainage eyelets are provided at the bottom of the main compartment and in the exterior pockets.

5. An envelope pocket is located on the top of the pack with gusseted fabric padding on the back to insert the field pack frame when using it on a field pack frame. Buckles and straps on both sides near the bottom are used to secure the backpack to the field pack frame. The top of the pack has two rectangular metal loops and the bottom of the pack has a D-ring each to secure the shoulder straps.

6. The ALICE backpack system has padded, easily adjustable shoulder straps that help relieve pressure, while the padded straps on the frame help reduce the load on itself. Quick release carabiners allow the entire pack to be dropped immediately in case of emergency. The hybrid aluminum and iron external frame makes it lighter in weight but stronger.

7. Introduced in 1974, the All Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment (ALICE) consists of two types of components: "combat load" and "presence load." The ALICE Pack system is designed so that it can be used in all environments, whether tropical, temperate, cold wet or even cold dry Arctic conditions. It is not only for military users, but remains popular in camping, travel, hiking, hunting, bug out and soft play.
